It is not always easy trying to find out what wildlife courses are on and where so we shall be using this space to keep you informed of what we come across.
It is a short trip from Cardiff over to Clifton where the Avon Gorge and Downs Wildlife Project runs a series of mostly one day field courses with the odd talk as well. For example on the 12th February 2011 there is a two-hour session on identifying Lichens. Other sessions include Plants of the Avon Gorge, Tree Gazing with Tony Titchen (who regularly leads events for Cardiff Naturalists), Meadow Medicine and Birdsong. there are also family and children's events. Most are charged at around £3 to £4.
